Here you will find some pages about Sifnos. Up to now it's mostly pictures and no text, but in return there is many good photo from all over the island.

The main town of Sifnos is Apollonia, close to the village Artemonas, where we in the summer of 1998 spend the night in the exiting apartment inside Windmill Villas.

Sifnos is now for it's ceramics. At almost every roof you will se some funny things made by ceramics.

Ceramic-shops is all over the island, but especially in Kamaras there are many of them.

There are many good beaches at Sifnos. This one is close to the famous Chrysopigi Monastery at the south of the island. A bit east you will find the nice beach in the village Faros.

Here is the beach in Platis Gialos. If you go to the south-west end of the island you will come to Vathi, with properly Sifnos finest beach.

This is Sifnos most photographt subject, the Chrysopigi Monastery.

Here is a another much photographt monastery, Panagia Poulati. I have never seen a more white church and a more blue dome. It is worth the 25 minutes walk from the old village Kastro.
